The Sailors

Roving, roaming, rutting... Fighting, settling scores, and taking what he wants...  The Sailor embodies the very idea of freedom.  Until  shore leave is over and he must return to his Ship and his mates.  His absence makes up his presence in the lives of those he has left behind. He lives and works between countries, between wives and lovers, between waves - waves of farewell and of water.   He claims a bravado he may actually possess - at times - in the face of storms,  and seems heedless of the depths below his boots.  Just as there is always a Woman, there is also always a Sailor.
